Wireless models add desk-clearing convenience, at the cost of charging or batteries to manage. Mice range from simple and cheap to ergonomic designs built to reduce strain over a full working day. We recommend keyboards and mice based on real typing feel and day-long comfort, not just switch types or DPI numbers, and call out when a mechanical keyboard's noise might be a problem for shared spaces or video calls.
